SHIPPING POLICY
Tamerx Diesel Products ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.
The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.
Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.
Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".
If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.
As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.
What is a Core Charge?
A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.
30 Day Core Charge Hold
You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

When trying to confirm if the Cummins QSX15 Wiring Harness (OEM 4393920) is compatible with your engine, it’s important to verify more than just the part name. Wiring harnesses are designed for very specific engine platforms and system configurations, especially when tied to aftertreatment systems.
This particular harness is commonly used on Cummins QSX15 and ISX15 EPA17 engines, especially in the 2018–2022 range. However, exact compatibility still depends on your engine’s build and setup.
Here’s how to properly check:
- Confirm your engine model and emissions level
- Make sure your engine is a QSX15 (or compatible ISX platform) with the correct emissions configuration, such as EPA17. This harness is specifically designed for those systems.
- Use your Engine Serial Number (ESN)
- The ESN is the most accurate way to verify fitment. It identifies your exact engine configuration and ensures the harness matches your setup.
- Check your current wiring harness part number
- If your existing harness is labeled 4393920, then this is a direct replacement.
- Verify system application (aftertreatment vs. engine harness)
- This harness is typically used for aftertreatment systems, connecting sensors, actuators, and control modules. Make sure your replacement matches the same function.
- Consult a Cummins dealer or parts specialist
- Providing your ESN or equipment details allows for precise confirmation using official parts catalogs.
In short, even if your engine falls within the correct model and year range, the safest way to confirm compatibility is by matching your ESN and OEM part number. This ensures proper installation and reliable electrical communication across your engine systems.
A wiring harness is responsible for carrying electrical signals throughout your vehicle, and its lifespan depends heavily on protection, proper installation, and regular inspection. Because it’s exposed to heat, vibration, and environmental elements, taking preventative steps can help avoid premature wear.
The key to extending its lifespan is minimizing stress on the wires and keeping connections clean and secure.
Here are practical ways to help your wiring harness last longer:
- Protect it from heat exposure
- Excessive heat can damage insulation and weaken wires over time. Make sure the harness is properly routed away from high-temperature components or shielded when necessary.
- Secure proper routing and support
- Loose or poorly routed wiring can rub against other parts, leading to abrasion. Use clips or ties to keep the harness stable and protected.
- Keep connectors clean and dry
- Moisture and dirt can cause corrosion at connection points. Regularly inspect and clean connectors to maintain strong electrical contact.
- Inspect for early signs of wear
- Look for cracked insulation, fraying, or discoloration. Catching these issues early can prevent larger electrical failures.
- Avoid overloading electrical systems
- Adding components without proper support can strain the wiring harness and lead to overheating or damage.
- Address issues promptly
- Fix minor electrical problems as soon as they appear to prevent further stress on the wiring system.
By maintaining proper routing, protecting against environmental factors, and staying proactive with inspections, you can significantly extend the life of your wiring harness.
The 4393920 wiring harness functions as the central electrical connection system, linking sensors, actuators, and control modules to ensure proper communication and operation across the engine.
Yes, it is specifically designed to connect emissions-related components such as sensors and modules within the aftertreatment system.
It distributes both electrical power and communication signals between engine components, allowing the control system to monitor and adjust engine functions.
In addition to engine components, it can also connect to systems like transmission interfaces, lighting circuits, and other electrical devices within the vehicle.
