The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.
Tamerx provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.
Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".
If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.
As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.
What is a Core Charge?
A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.
30 Day Core Charge Hold
You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

A restricted pressure hose can interfere with the transfer of pressure between connected components, making internal passage condition an important part of reliable system operation. The Cummins X12, X15 Pressure Hose 2022-2024: OEM 5418425 provides a dedicated pressure pathway that helps maintain consistent communication between compatible system connections.
-
OEM 5418425 is intended for compatible 2022-2024 Cummins X12 and X15 diesel applications.
-
Unobstructed internal passage allows pressure to travel through the hose without unnecessary restrictions.
-
Consistent internal diameter helps maintain the intended pressure pathway between connected components.
-
Flexible hose construction accommodates installation requirements while maintaining the necessary routing.
-
Resistance to kinking helps prevent sharp bends that could restrict the internal passage.
-
Secure connection ends help minimize unwanted pressure loss at the hose attachment points.
-
Durable materials are suited for exposure to normal engine vibration and temperature changes.
-
Application-specific length and configuration help maintain proper positioning within compatible Cummins X12 and X15 systems.
The Cummins X12, X15 Pressure Hose OEM 5418425 provides a reliable passage for pressure transfer while helping prevent restrictions caused by damaged or improperly routed hoses. Customers searching for a Cummins X12 pressure hose, Cummins X15 pressure hose, diesel pressure hose replacement, pressure sensing hose, or OEM 5418425 can find this application-specific component at TamerX Diesel Parts for compatible 2022-2024 applications.
Excessive internal pressure, weakened hose material, and improper installation can cause a Pressure Hose to burst during operation. Pressure Hoses are manufactured to withstand specific operating conditions, but repeated pressure fluctuations, extreme temperatures, and physical damage can weaken their structure and lead to sudden failure.
-
Excessive system pressure: Pressure exceeding the hose's rated working limit can cause the material to expand, rupture, or burst.
-
Pressure spikes: Sudden increases in pressure can place additional stress on the hose and accelerate internal damage.
-
Material deterioration: Aging, repeated use, and exposure to harsh operating conditions can weaken the hose's internal reinforcement.
-
Extreme temperatures: Excessive heat can soften or degrade hose materials, reducing their ability to withstand high pressure.
-
Improper installation: Incorrect routing, sharp bends, twisting, or incompatible fittings can create weak points that lead to failure.
-
External damage: Abrasion, vibration, contact with sharp surfaces, or impact can damage the outer covering and internal reinforcement.
-
Chemical contamination: Exposure to incompatible oils, fuels, chemicals, or other fluids can deteriorate hose materials and reduce pressure resistance.
A Pressure Hose can burst unexpectedly when internal pressure exceeds its capacity or existing damage compromises its strength. Regular inspections, proper hose selection, correct installation, and maintaining pressure within manufacturer specifications can help prevent sudden hose failure and protect surrounding equipment.
Common signs include surface cracking, swelling, hardening, visible abrasion, or leakage around hose connections. Regular inspections can help identify deterioration before the hose fails.
Repeated pressure changes can place stress on the hose material and connection points. Over time, this may contribute to material fatigue, weakened fittings, or premature hose failure.
Correct routing helps prevent unnecessary bending, twisting, and contact with surrounding components. Improper routing can increase wear and place additional strain on the hose connections.
An internal restriction can interfere with normal pressure transmission or flow through the hose. Depending on its application, this may affect the operation of the connected components.
