SHIPPING POLICY

Tamerx Diesel Products ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The Hyundai 2.5L engine relies on precise fuel delivery to maintain optimal performance and fuel efficiency. The OEM 338004A710 Fuel Injector set, specifically designed for 2011 models, plays a vital role in ensuring that the engine runs smoothly. In this blog, we'll focus on the function of these fuel injectors and why they are essential for your vehicle's overall operation.

Key Functions of the Hyundai 2.5L Fuel Injector

  • Accurate Fuel Delivery
    • The OEM 338004A710 injectors ensure that the correct amount of fuel is delivered to each cylinder at the appropriate time for efficient combustion.
  • Fuel Atomization
    •  These injectors break the fuel into fine droplets, allowing for a more effective air-fuel mixture, which results in a more complete burn in the combustion chamber.
  • Improved Fuel Economy
    •  By providing precise fuel injection, the injectors help optimize fuel efficiency, reducing overall fuel consumption.
  • Lower Emissions
    •  Proper fuel atomization and combustion reduce unburnt fuel, minimizing harmful emissions and making the engine more eco-friendly.
  • Smooth Engine Operation
    •  A well-functioning fuel injector ensures consistent engine performance, preventing problems like rough idling or engine misfires.

Maintenance Tips for Hyundai 2.5L Fuel Injectors

  • Use Clean, High-Quality Fuel
    •  Using high-quality diesel helps prevent clogging and ensures longer injector life.
  • Regular Inspections
    •  Periodically check for signs of wear, leaks, or damage to catch potential issues early and avoid costly repairs.
  • Injector Cleaning
    •  Use fuel system cleaners to prevent carbon buildup, maintaining optimal fuel flow and engine performance.
  • Timely Replacement
    •  If you notice a decline in fuel efficiency or engine power, consider replacing the injectors with the OEM 338004A710 set to restore proper functionality.

The Hyundai 2.5L Fuel Injector OEM 338004A710 set is crucial for maintaining your engine's fuel efficiency and overall performance. A fuel injector is crucial for the proper functioning of your vehicle's engine, ensuring the right amount of fuel is delivered for efficient combustion. If a fuel injector goes bad, it can cause various performance issues that may affect your driving experience. While it might be possible to drive with a malfunctioning fuel injector for a short period, it’s important to understand the risks and potential damage that could arise.

Risks of Driving with a Bad Fuel Injector:

  • Reduced Engine Performance

    •  A faulty fuel injector can cause the engine to misfire, hesitate, or run roughly. This not only makes driving uncomfortable but also puts added strain on other engine components.

  • Decreased Fuel Efficiency

    • When a fuel injector is not working correctly, it can cause the engine to consume more fuel than usual. You may notice a sudden drop in gas mileage, leading to increased fuel costs over time.

  • Increased Emissions

    • A bad fuel injector disrupts the air-fuel ratio, resulting in incomplete combustion and higher emissions. This can cause your vehicle to fail emissions tests and contribute to environmental pollution.

  • Potential Engine Damage

    •  Driving with a malfunctioning fuel injector for an extended period can lead to serious engine damage. If excess fuel leaks into the cylinders, it can wash away the lubricating oil, causing friction, overheating, and potentially damaging internal engine components.

  • Check Engine Light Activation

    • A bad injector may trigger the check engine light, signaling an issue with the fuel system. Ignoring this warning could lead to more severe problems down the road if not addressed promptly.

  • Rough Idling and Hard Starts

    •  A malfunctioning injector can cause difficulty starting the engine or result in rough idling. This happens because the engine struggles to maintain the proper air-fuel mixture for smooth operation.

While you may be able to drive with a bad fuel injector for a short time, doing so can lead to worsening performance, increased emissions, and potential engine damage. If you notice any symptoms of a faulty injector, it’s best to have it inspected and repaired as soon as possible to avoid more serious problems. Timely maintenance and addressing fuel injector issues promptly will help keep your vehicle running efficiently and extend the life of your engine.

Symptoms include engine misfires, rough idling, reduced power, and excessive smoke from the exhaust.

A malfunctioning injector can cause poor atomization, leading to increased fuel consumption and reduced efficiency.

Accurate and fine fuel misting helps the engine ignite fuel more reliably even in colder conditions.

Regular inspection, using high-quality fuel, and periodic injector cleaning are key to maintaining its longevity.
