The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.
Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.
Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".
If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.
What is a Core Charge?
A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.
30 Day Core Charge Hold
You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.
"This Product Doesn't Have a Core"
Delivering diesel exhaust fluid into the emissions system at the required point, the Yanmar 4JHE DEF Aftertreatment Injector (2018–2024) OEM 129F01-19590 plays an important role in proper exhaust treatment. Manufactured to original equipment specifications, it provides accurate fitment for compatible Yanmar 4JHE engines within the specified model years. This injector meters and sprays DEF into the exhaust stream, supporting the selective catalytic reduction process and helping reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Its durable construction is designed to withstand elevated exhaust temperatures, vibration, and demanding operating environments found in diesel equipment applications. Suitable for equipment maintenance and professional diesel service, this OEM DEF aftertreatment injector helps maintain consistent fluid delivery and reliable emissions system operation.

The Yanmar 4JHE DEF Aftertreatment Injector (OEM 129F01-19590) is an important component of the engine’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. Its primary function is to deliver a controlled amount of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) into the exhaust stream so the aftertreatment system can reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
Unlike a fuel injector, the DEF aftertreatment injector does not supply fuel to the engine cylinders. Instead, it operates within the exhaust system and supports the chemical reactions necessary for emissions treatment.
What Does the Yanmar DEF Aftertreatment Injector Do?
- Injects DEF into the exhaust stream
- The injector delivers a carefully controlled quantity of DEF into the aftertreatment system.
- Supports NOx reduction
- DEF ultimately produces ammonia, which reacts with nitrogen oxides inside the SCR catalyst and converts them primarily into nitrogen and water vapor.
- Controls DEF distribution
- Proper injection helps DEF mix effectively with hot exhaust gases before reaching the SCR catalyst.
- Works with the engine control system
- DEF dosing is managed according to engine operating conditions and information provided by emissions-related sensors.
- Supports SCR catalyst operation
- Accurate DEF delivery helps the SCR catalyst perform its NOx-reduction function effectively.
- Helps maintain emissions compliance
- Proper operation of the injector supports the emissions-control requirements of compatible diesel applications.
Why Is This Injector Important?
The Yanmar 4JHE DEF Aftertreatment Injector (OEM 129F01-19590) plays a key role in ensuring the SCR system receives the correct amount of DEF. If the injector becomes clogged, damaged, or unable to dose DEF correctly, the vehicle may experience emissions warning lights, SCR efficiency faults, DEF-related fault codes, or operating restrictions.
Keeping the DEF system clean, using specification-correct DEF, and addressing emissions faults promptly can help protect the injector and maintain dependable aftertreatment operation.
A DEF Aftertreatment Injector, also called a DEF doser, sprays Diesel Exhaust Fluid into the exhaust stream so the SCR system can reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. When the injector becomes clogged, damaged, or unable to dose DEF correctly, the entire aftertreatment system can be affected.
Here are some common signs of a bad DEF Aftertreatment Injector:
- Check engine or emissions warning light
- Improper DEF dosing can trigger aftertreatment-related diagnostic trouble codes and dashboard warnings.
- DEF crystallization around the injector
- White crystalline deposits near the injector or decomposition tube may indicate leakage, poor atomization, or an injector that isn't sealing correctly.
- Recurring SCR efficiency fault codes
- Incorrect DEF delivery can reduce NOx conversion and cause SCR-related codes to repeatedly return.
- Abnormal DEF consumption
- A leaking injector may use excessive DEF, while a clogged or malfunctioning injector may cause unusually low consumption.
- Engine derate or reduced-power mode
- If the dosing problem remains unresolved, some diesel engines may eventually limit engine output or vehicle speed.
- Poor NOx conversion
- Insufficient or uneven DEF injection can prevent the SCR catalyst from reducing NOx emissions effectively.
- Visible DEF leaks
- Wet areas or dried DEF deposits around the injector, supply line, or connections can indicate a leak.
- Irregular spray pattern
- A clogged or damaged injector may produce an uneven spray rather than properly atomizing DEF into the exhaust stream.
These symptoms don't automatically confirm that the DEF Aftertreatment Injector itself has failed. Contaminated DEF, damaged wiring, supply-pressure problems, faulty NOx sensors, or other SCR system issues can produce similar symptoms. Proper diagnostic testing can determine whether the injector needs cleaning, servicing, or replacement.
Yes, deposits or contamination at the 129F01-19590 injector tip can interfere with the intended DEF spray pattern and distribution.
Aftertreatment fault codes, increased NOx readings, abnormal DEF consumption, visible DEF deposits, or SCR efficiency concerns may indicate a problem with the 129F01-19590 injector.
Yes, a 129F01-19590 that leaks when it should be closed can contribute to DEF crystallization and deposits within the exhaust system.
A proper spray pattern allows the 129F01-19590 to distribute DEF effectively into the exhaust stream for mixing and decomposition before the SCR catalyst.
