As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.
What is a Core Charge?
A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.
30 Day Core Charge Hold
You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The Cummins QSF 2.8L, ISF 2.8L Aftertreatment Hose (OEM 4329753) is an essential component of the engine's emissions system, designed for 2014–2021 Cummins QSF 2.8L and ISF 2.8L engines. This hose provides a secure pathway between key aftertreatment components, allowing gases or system fluids to move efficiently throughout the emissions-control system. Proper routing and sealing are critical to maintaining the performance of the engine's aftertreatment system.
Although it may appear to be a simple hose, it plays an important role in supporting the reliable operation of the entire emissions system.
What Does the Cummins 4329753 Aftertreatment Hose Do?
- Connects aftertreatment components
- The hose provides a secure connection between compatible emissions system components, helping maintain proper system operation.
- Maintains a sealed pathway
- It helps prevent leaks that could affect the efficiency of the aftertreatment system or trigger emissions-related issues.
- Supports proper system flow
- By allowing gases or system media to move efficiently, the hose contributes to consistent aftertreatment performance.
- Withstands harsh operating conditions
- Designed for heavy-duty applications, it is built to tolerate high temperatures, vibration, and continuous engine operation.
- Works with the complete emissions system
- The hose functions alongside components such as the DOC, DPF, SCR system, sensors, and related aftertreatment hardware to support reliable emissions control.
- Helps maintain emissions compliance
- A properly functioning aftertreatment hose contributes to the overall integrity of the emissions system and helps support compliance with diesel emissions standards.
The Cummins QSF 2.8L, ISF 2.8L Aftertreatment Hose (OEM 4329753) is more than just a connecting hose—it's an important part of the aftertreatment system that helps maintain secure connections, proper flow, and reliable operation. Keeping this component in good condition supports the performance of the complete emissions system and contributes to the long-term reliability of compatible Cummins QSF 2.8L and ISF 2.8L engines.
An aftertreatment hose is designed to withstand high temperatures, vibration, and harsh operating conditions, but it will eventually wear out over time. Under normal operating conditions, an aftertreatment hose can often last 100,000 to 200,000 miles or more, depending on the vehicle, operating environment, and maintenance practices.
Rather than replacing it at a specific mileage, it's best to inspect the hose regularly and replace it when signs of wear or damage appear.
Several factors can affect the lifespan of an aftertreatment hose:
- High operating temperatures
- Constant exposure to extreme exhaust temperatures can cause the hose material to harden, crack, or deteriorate over time.
- Engine vibration
- Continuous vibration can weaken the hose and its connections, increasing the likelihood of leaks or premature failure.
- Road and environmental conditions
- Dirt, moisture, road salt, and other contaminants can accelerate wear and corrosion around hose fittings and clamps.
- Improper installation
- A hose that is twisted, bent excessively, or improperly secured may wear out faster than expected.
- Regular maintenance
- Routine inspections can help identify cracks, abrasion, loose clamps, or leaks before they become major problems.
- Condition of the aftertreatment system
- Excessive heat, exhaust leaks, or failing emissions components can place additional stress on the hose and shorten its service life.
Common signs that an aftertreatment hose may need replacement include visible cracks, swelling, brittleness, loose or damaged connections, exhaust leaks, recurring emissions-related fault codes, or signs of heat damage.
Performing routine inspections and replacing a worn aftertreatment hose at the first signs of deterioration can help maintain proper exhaust flow, protect the aftertreatment system, and reduce the risk of unexpected downtime.
The 4329753 hose is designed for Cummins QSF 2.8L and ISF 2.8L engines used in industrial, agricultural, construction, and light commercial applications manufactured between 2014 and 2021.
Its primary function is to provide a secure passage for air within the aftertreatment system, helping maintain proper airflow between connected emissions components.
The hose is installed within the engine's aftertreatment system, connecting designated air passages according to the original Cummins emissions system design.
Proper airflow helps ensure that the aftertreatment system operates as intended, allowing emissions-control components to function efficiently under various operating conditions.
