SHIPPING POLICY

Tamerx Diesel Products ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

Accurate pressure monitoring is fundamental for diesel engines to run smoothly and reliably — and the Cummins ISX15 / QSX Pressure Sensor (OEM 4921495) provides that critical data for engines from 2010 to 2018. This sensor ensures that vital pressures (such as fuel rail pressure, oil pressure, or boost pressure depending on configuration) remain within specified limits. Choosing the correct OEM-grade sensor helps maintain engine performance, prevent damage, and ensure system safety.

This pressure sensor delivers essential benefits that contribute to engine health and longevity:

  • Precise Pressure Monitoring – Continuously measures system pressures and sends accurate data to the engine control module for proper regulation.

  • Supports Stable Engine Operation – With reliable pressure feedback, the engine management system can maintain correct fuel delivery, combustion dynamics, and lubrication — avoiding pressure-related issues or performance drops.

  • OEM-Grade Fit and Reliability – As OEM 4921495, this sensor meets original manufacturer specifications, ensuring correct installation, durable build quality, and stable performance even under heavy-duty conditions.

  • Prevents Pressure-Related Failures – Replacing a faulty pressure sensor reduces the risk of fuel delivery problems, oil pressure faults, boost or turbo malfunctions, and associated breakdowns.

  • Improves Diagnostic Accuracy and Maintenance – A functioning sensor reduces false warnings and misleading error codes, making maintenance and troubleshooting more straightforward and reliable.

Replacing an old or failing pressure sensor is a smart move to keep your diesel engine running efficiently and safely. The Cummins ISX15 / QSX Pressure Sensor (OEM 4921495) provides accurate pressure monitoring, supports stable system operation, and helps prevent costly failures. For those seeking a reliable, OEM-spec replacement part, Tamerx offers a quality solution engineered to maintain long-term engine health and dependable performance.

The Sensor Pressure plays a critical role in monitoring system pressure and providing accurate data to the engine control module (ECM). This information helps regulate fuel delivery, engine timing, emissions control, and overall system performance. When the Sensor Pressure fails, the ECM can no longer rely on accurate pressure readings, often resulting in drivability issues, warning lights, and potential engine damage.

Effects of a Failing Sensor Pressure

  • Incorrect Pressure Readings
The ECM may receive false high or low pressure signals, causing improper engine adjustments.

  • Poor Engine Performance
Loss of power, hesitation, rough idling, or stalling can occur due to incorrect fuel or air pressure regulation.

  • Increased Fuel Consumption
A failing sensor may cause the ECM to deliver more fuel than needed, reducing efficiency and increasing emissions.

  • Hard-Start or No-Start Conditions
Engines that rely on precise pressure data may struggle to start when the sensor is malfunctioning.

  • Transmission or System Malfunctions
Some pressure sensors affect transmission shifting or hydraulic systems, resulting in harsh shifts or erratic operation.

  • Check Engine Light and Fault Codes
The ECM will typically trigger warning lights or pressure-related fault codes when the sensor stops functioning properly.

When the Sensor Pressure fails, the effects can range from mild performance issues to serious drivability problems and potential engine damage. Addressing pressure-related warnings quickly and performing proper diagnostic tests can prevent further complications. Replacing or repairing the sensor ensures accurate system control and long-term engine reliability.

Common signs: erratic or incorrect pressure readings, warning lights or fault codes, poor performance, loss of power, rough idle, fuel or boost issues, or unexpected engine behavior.

Replacement typically involves locating the sensor, removing the old unit, ensuring the port is clean, installing the new sensor, and reconnecting wiring — manageable for a person with moderate mechanical skill.

Yes — after installation it is often necessary to clear any fault codes and allow the ECU to relearn or recalibrate pressure parameters to properly accept the new sensor signal.

Yes — inaccurate pressure readings can lead to improper fuel delivery or combustion timing, resulting in inefficient fuel use and decreased fuel economy.
