The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

"This Product Doesn't Have a Core"

Developed to provide accurate nitrogen oxide monitoring in demanding diesel applications, the Cummins QSB 6.7L NOx Sensor (2013–2024) OEM DZ110621 supports proper operation of the engine’s exhaust aftertreatment system. Designed to meet original equipment specifications, this sensor is intended for proper fitment with applicable Cummins QSB 6.7L engines within the specified model years. It measures nitrogen oxide (NOx) concentrations in the exhaust stream and transmits critical readings to the engine control system, helping regulate selective catalytic reduction (SCR) processes and maintain consistent emissions monitoring. Its durable construction is designed to withstand elevated exhaust temperatures, vibration, moisture exposure, and challenging operating conditions commonly encountered in agricultural, construction, and industrial diesel equipment. Suitable for equipment owners, maintenance technicians, and professional diesel repair facilities, this OEM NOx sensor provides a dependable replacement solution for restoring accurate exhaust gas measurements, maintaining proper emissions system functionality, and supporting reliable long-term engine operation.

The Cummins QSB 6.7L NOx Sensor OEM DZ110621 is an important component of the diesel exhaust aftertreatment system. Listed for compatible Cummins QSB 6.7L diesel engine applications from 2013–2024, this sensor measures nitrogen oxide (NOx) levels in exhaust gases, supporting emission control and reliable engine operation.

Key Functions of the Cummins QSB 6.7L NOx Sensor

The Cummins QSB 6.7L NOx Sensor performs several essential functions within the diesel exhaust system:

  • NOx Monitoring
    • Measures nitrogen oxide concentrations in diesel exhaust gases.
  • Emission Control
    • Supports the reduction of harmful exhaust emissions.
  • SCR System Support
    • Provides information used to manage Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) operation.
  • Engine Diagnostics
    • Helps detect abnormal NOx readings and exhaust treatment issues.
  • Environmental Compliance
    • Supports compliance with applicable diesel emission regulations.

Why Is OEM DZ110621 Important?

The Cummins QSB 6.7L NOx Sensor 2013–2024 is identified by OEM part number DZ110621 for listed applications.

A faulty NOx sensor may cause inaccurate emission readings, diagnostic trouble codes, or exhaust aftertreatment system warnings.

Replacing a damaged Cummins NOx sensor helps restore accurate exhaust monitoring and proper emission control.

Always verify your engine serial number, sensor location, and OEM compatibility before purchasing a replacement.

A failing NOx Sensor can affect your diesel vehicle's emissions system and lead to expensive repairs. This important component monitors nitrogen oxide (NOx) levels in exhaust gases, helping the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system control harmful emissions.

Common Signs of a Bad NOx Sensor

Recognizing NOx Sensor failure symptoms can help prevent additional exhaust system problems. Watch for these warning signs:

  • Check Engine Light
    • Faulty sensor readings may trigger dashboard warnings.
  • SCR System Warnings
    • Incorrect NOx measurements can cause emissions system alerts.
  • Increased NOx Emissions
    • Inaccurate readings may interfere with emissions control.
  • Reduced Engine Output
    • Certain emissions faults can trigger operating restrictions.
  • Diagnostic Trouble Codes
    • Stored codes may indicate sensor communication or measurement problems.
  • DEF Consumption Changes
    • Sensor faults may affect Diesel Exhaust Fluid dosing.

What Should You Do Next?

If you suspect a faulty diesel NOx Sensor, schedule a professional diagnostic inspection. A qualified technician can examine wiring connections, check fault codes, and verify sensor operation.

When Is NOx Sensor Replacement Necessary?

NOx Sensor replacement may be required when internal sensor damage or electrical failure is confirmed.

Prompt diagnosis and proper repairs help maintain SCR system efficiency, prevent additional exhaust system damage, and support emissions compliance.

Yes, incorrect readings or electrical communication faults involving the DZ110621 can trigger diagnostic trouble codes and an engine or emissions warning light.

Yes, on compatible SCR-equipped systems, inaccurate NOx feedback can interfere with the control system's ability to evaluate or adjust DEF dosing.

Yes, exposure to temperatures beyond the sensor's specified operating limits can damage its sensing element, electronics, or wiring.

Yes, excessive soot or exhaust deposits can contaminate the sensing area and interfere with accurate nitrogen oxide measurements.
